Painted in the early morning light, Royal Street is one block from Bourbon St. It offers an eclectic collection of shops and eateries. Musicians and street performers can be found in the later part of the afternoon entertaining onlookers and passersby. This piece was painted in plein aire.
About Lilibeth Andre
Since 1998 I've created a series of classical paintings that include portraits and figures; wildlife, landscapes, and still life. I've also done some iconic works and illustrations. My art has been exhibited in Mexico and in the U.S. My collectors are predominantly in the US and Mexico. In 1981, I completed my interior and exterior architectural design, and art studies, in Coyoacan, Mexico.
