The Illustration of Topiltzin, the king and great leader, created for my book, The Lady of The Turquoise Pendant, using my original oil painting. King Topiltzin is the father of Princess Izta. The book is a tool to teach about the Aztec culture as a tell a story that was inspired on a well-known legend. The illustration helps me teach about Aztec dress and customs. About Lilibeth Andre
Since 1998 I've created a series of classical paintings that include portraits and figures; wildlife, landscapes, and still life. I've also done some iconic works and illustrations. My art has been exhibited in Mexico and in the U.S. My collectors are predominantly in the US and Mexico. In 1981, I completed my interior and exterior architectural design, and art studies, in Coyoacan, Mexico. Since 1993, I've studied painting and drawing with Jo Mullendore, Nikki Szeto, Bruce Williamson, Darra Keeton, and William Kalwick, Jr., in Houston, Texas.
